Apply the torque spring before the main arch wire using 0.46mm × 0.64mm stainless steel wire. Insert the main arch wire through the torque hole and fix it at both ends of the spring.

The single spring torque angle should not exceed 90°. The force direction follows the direction of the coil spring opening.

Adjust the torque spring and lever position according to the desired movement direction:

- To move the root toward the palatal side (positive torque), place the arm on the bracket gingival side.

- To move the root toward the labial side (negative torque), place the arm on the bracket occlusal side.

Follow-up is typically scheduled at approximately 4 weeks.
