My wife wanted to drill holes in seashells to make a necklace. I order this micro motor and there was no vibration, very smooth and I was able to drill through the shells at high speed. I also like that you do not need a tool to change the burrs.

This is the best rotary tool I've ever used and I have used several. The quick change tool system is SO much better than other units requiring wrenches. It does not have a ton of torque compared to many other units but that's a worth while trade for the stuff I do. Your not going to hog away with a large diameter cutting wheel with this unit. It's also very quiet, like massively more quiet than any dremel for instance. Like 1/10th the noise if I had to throw a number out. Not even as loud as the air driven units at the dentist. I really do love this thing. One of the best "cheap" tools I've ever purchased.

Saw a similar device and a wood carving show and it brought back memories of visiting a dental lab years ago. This is either the same device rebranded or a knock off. Seems to work as expected. I will compare it to the wood carving device a friend of mind has. Looking forward to using it for many years to come!
