Safety Devices:

1. Water-off and over-temperature cutoff: When the heating element is operating without water, the power supply is cut.

2. Over-current protection: If the current exceeds the rated value, the circuit breaker cuts power automatically.

3. Safety valve: When the pressure exceeds 0.22 MPa (34 psi), the unit automatically releases pressure.

Maintenance:

1. Place a chemical indicator and biological indicator in the chamber with the items to be processed. After the cycle, the indicator results can be checked.

2. The safety valve and exhaust valve are on the top. The safety valve must be checked once a year; replace if it malfunctions. If the safety valve malfunctions during use and pressure keeps increasing, cut the power supply.

3. The rubber seal ring is subject to aging. If aging causes leakage, replace the seal ring as needed.

4. The pressure gauge must be calibrated annually.

5. Keep the machine clean. To prevent scale buildup on the surface, wash with distilled water once a week.

6. If the overheat protector is damaged, remove the round cover on the bottom and replace the protector.
