It comes with a nice case to keep the instrument, and the metal tip and the ground can be autoclaved.

Does the Job of Tools Costing Three Times as Much Is it is "cheaply" made or just light weight? Maybe it is a little of both, BUT it works really well. I waited to write this review until I had used it for quite awhile. As a working silversmith I put it to the test for a couple of months. Leaving it on for (5) hours at high temp. Working with various waxes and using all the tips. This is not a Dremel tool, it is a precision instrument, so be careful with it. All the settings work great, the handles feel nice and I like the way they lock into the stand. A really good tool for the money.

  • GREAT endo handpiece! I have been using the Dentsply cordless endo handpiece for 7 years and have LOVED it. I didn't think I would going into using it as I doubted the efficiency of a cordless version of the corded one I had used for over 10 years. That being said, the Dentsply cordless handpiece worked wonderfully and for many an endodontic procedure. THAT being said, when the plastic connection finally started to crack and pull apart at the top and the gears started to slip due to there not being a tight connection around the neck of the handpiece, I looked for an exact replacement and would have to settle for a used version off ebay if I wanted to stick with it. The least expensive unit I found was $1000. During the process of balking a bit at spending $1000 on a used unit, I decided to just see what Alandental might have and came across a few models between $150 and $200, then a few that jumped to the $450-$500 range. My reservation , of course, was how good could a handpiece priced literally 7-8 times less than a new version of what I had been using be? I finally decided that for $200 I would give this black unit a try. I am a general dentist and perform about 100 endo procedures a year so it's not like I would be using this 8-10 times a day, 5 days a week. At the point of writing this review (2/13/2020), I have used this handpiece for 6 molars, 4 premolars and 5 anterior endo procedures.... a good sample size to give this unit 5 stars for efficiency and ease of use. This unit performs exactly like the higher end Dentsply unit and actually has the newer reciprocal options to easily choose from. I didn't think I would like this option but it is GREAT. It is built into the auto reverse function and is easily turned off or on, depending on preference. The handpiece feels as solid as my other unit. Everything about it to this point and experience is just actually perfect. I have absolutely no reservations at this point. Will it break down over the next bunch of months? I don't know. I really does not feel like it. Why is it so inexpensive compared to other higher models? I really don't know. It's made in China so that probably has something to do with it. But for $200 I would not hesitate at all.

  • Worth the price for acrylic Great little unit for the price. Needed a new one for denture adjustments/repair/fabrication and works just as good as the buffalo brand previously used that cost close to 900.00

  • Excellent value for such a great product! We have had several of these. They work great! we never have a problem with them. This one was an additional one we needed.
